1. Who we are

Companions24 (companions24.com) is an online platform for advertising escort services in Estonia. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@companions24.com.

2. What data we collect

Companions (registered users)

  • Email address (used for login only)
  • Phone number (used for OTP verification and displayed on your profile if you choose)
  • Alias, profile description, city, and photos you upload
  • Account creation date and last login timestamp

Seekers and anonymous visitors

  • An anonymous session identifier (no name, email, or account required)
  • City filter preferences stored locally on your device

All visitors

  • Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps
  • Anonymised analytics data via Google Analytics (can be blocked with an ad blocker)

3. How we use your data

  • To operate your account and display your profile to visitors
  • To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
  • To improve the platform using anonymised analytics
  • To comply with legal obligations if required by Estonian or EU law

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to any third party.

4. Who we share data with

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Google Firebase — authentication, database, and file storage (EU region)
  • Google Analytics — anonymised usage analytics
  • Mailjet — transactional email delivery

No other third parties have access to your personal data.

5. Data retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data (profile, photos, contact details) is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data is retained for up to 26 months.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — delete your account and all associated data
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing of your data

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the platform to function (session management). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Google Analytics uses anonymised identifiers that do not link to your personal identity.

8. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase, which uses industry-standard security practices. We do not store passwords — login is handled via email/password with Firebase Auth or phone OTP verification.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
